Westbrook had an existing website when they came to TechCare with stock photography and some description about the school. When I visited the school for the first time, I knew immediately that they were not telling their amazing story in any way, shape, or form on their current site.
We wanted to focus on two things right away: the site map and the images.
TechCare and Westbrook worked together to create a site map that told the story of the school, explained the amazing philosophy and grounds through the menu structure so that a person visiting the website could get a feel for the school without reading a single page and only looking at the menu structure. There is a place to describe each of the wonderful aspects of this school both physically and philosophically which is what we were aiming for.
The images from now on would be all images taken by the school, of which there so many to choose! The photos tell a story that can not be explained better with words, and so we made sure that the photos on the website showed the hand made playground areas, the nature trails, the children helping each other, and the learning that was happening with these little ones. Stock photography had no place here on this website.
What we ended up with was a WordPress website that is absolutely unique and tells the story about their school right way to any viewer to visits their site.
