The Hallen School is a school for students with special needs located in New Rochelle, New York. The school is comprised of an elementary, middle and high school. Taking students through their entire school career gives the students the consistency that some of them need.
The school had no presence on the web when they first called TechCare. We were working with a blank slate, which can be a lot of fun, and a lot of work. The Head of School and the Technology Director worked very hard on the site, writing all of the content and finding photos to fit each page.
Having a website will be instrumental to their business as
a) they can now be found when parents are up late at night, worrying about their children and don’t know where to get help for them, and
b) so that they can use the site as a place for online forms and downloads, such as health forms, applications, and calendars.
